I believe some of the folks on the Bow forum were talking fairly seriously about getting together for a bow hunt with an outfitter in Ontario? Maybe go on the Bow forum and ask if they did it.
I ruptured a bicept tendon in my right arm last summer and could not lift a bow let alone practice with it. Then I had an operation and the Doc. told me to leave my bow alone for a year then start out with a light weight. I have not been to the Bow forum since.

I wouldn't call it a group hunt, but some of the individual guys on the board have come out to our ranch to hunt Mule Deer. Check out the photo gallery on the homepage listed in my profile and see if there is anyone there you recognize.
There are some great guys here!

i found an old outdoor life that has an articel about a $500 do it yourself elk hunt. it says that the over the counter elk license in Colorado is around $250, is it still close to that? what about the muley license? is it about $250 also?

I've gone on one hunt, and hopefully will be going on another next fall with board members. I had a blast in Hawaii last January hunting with Maui Wes and his bud Joe. Their offer to hunt up here still stands.
It is a great way to meet people, and hunt new areas without breaking the bank on guides or commercial services. It also helps having an experienced local tote you around their neck of the woods!

Gee, were you guys members before that hunt? I thought that was a sloper goater hunt.
Didn't forget about ya, thought the question was more about people meeting off the boards and getting together for hunts.
When did you become a member?

ACTUALLY JUST BEFORE THAT HUNT, I THINK BUT SE AK BOWMAN DID JOIN US LATER. SO YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN MOST CORRECT TO HAVE FORGOTTEN TO MENTION OUR HUNT. MUST HAVE BE AN "OLD GUY " MOMENT
