Dillon Mt.
I'm planning a elk hunt for 6 of us this year around the Dillon mt area units 331 332 329. We've never been out there before. Wondering how elk population is out there as well as wolves, and Grizzlies. We're planning on a 10 day hunt starting the first week of November. Gonna set up camp. Any info on where a good place for camping would be we prefer out in the sticks if possible

hunted 331 years ago maybe 5? archery season...
I'd find that map montana publishes and look at elk numbers/objectives, 331 332 were below objectives, I'd hunt at or over population unit...
perhaps it's better now, but if it was how it was when I was there I'd hunt another unit.
