I'm trying to figure out this Sitka gear. I just brought the mountain pant, in optifade.

I'm hunting 1st season Colorado Elk. Do you guys wear thermals under your Sitka, or is it weather dependent ?

The material is unique, but I don't know how warm it is... yet.

How did your Sitka Gear work out? Did you end up getting a jacket?

Curious how noisy it was and about the warmth?

I only brought the pants. Not really too warm at all. Opening day at 40 degrees, I was freezing all morning. Literally shivering. Then it warmed up, sun came out, and it was great.

In Oct in Colorado, it was really warm for the entire season. They worked out well.

Certainly not for sub freezing temps. I'm sure Sitka has a cold weather line, but they aren't the Mountain Pants.
