Default WY Hunt

My cousin, boy and i had a successful hunt, filled our tags. I shot a decent 5x5, Cuz got a nice fork horn, and i ended the hunt with a doe Antelope. We hiked in 3 miles set up a tent and hiked in another 2-3 miles in the Cooney hills to hunt every day for the Muleys. I got up high and glassed down as most of them were in the valleys, i saw 7 go in the buck brush late one morn, so that afternoon we snuk down and my boy drove them out to us, my cuz shot the fork, i chose to wait for a bigger one The hard part was packing in the water, i did find some water back in there, so next time we can use that run off water to drink. We had a little problem when my boy almost stepped on a green mojave rattlesnake, and the quality of my backpacks were lacking, other than that we had a blast, that Muley must've dressed out around 250lb+, we got the meat cut up and in the freezer.http://postimg.org/image/3yxkfcxr9/

I wanted to add, after 4 days in the rocks we went back in town to clean up and went to my Pronghorn zone, for a break (which was still in my Muley zone). While hiking in i jumped a Mule deer and her fawn and saw lots of Mule deer sign, so i switched gears, jumped a small buck and after an hour or so and a few miles i jumped the 5x5 in some buck brush mid morning, good times.

I've always enjoyed hunting speed goats in WY.

Congrats on a great hunt. You will often find mulies in areas where the antelope hang out
