Nice. Been a long time since I took a bear in CO. I've got a slew of preference points I'm thinking of cashing in on the Bosque de Oso State Wildlife Area.

Nice!!! Congrats! I'll be heading up this Sunday. Hopefully, I get lucky and stumble onto a bear. Did you sit and wait or were you stalking around?

Came across a top of a ridge right after daybreak. Saw a bear in that same spot on saturday. That ridge produces animals. I missed a elk on it Saturday and my friend missed a elk today.

Nice bear c-rad! Sounds like you got a good spot. My boy missed a chance at a nice one last night around 6:20pm the bear heard the safety click off on the shotgun, and he never came all the way out of the brush.
