The best public land hunting in Oregon is on the west side of Crater Lake.

The blacktails march along in armies there from dusk to dawn. Tried it and loved it there.

I don't know of any good hunting in Wash. State though. Tried it and did not like it there.

OR is fore sure good for hunting as it has less people, but more places for hunting. If we compare the two then WA has moose hunting very famous for while on another hand OR has a great huntable area.
