I have hunted elk in Colorado for a few years. I drew a elk tag for the first rifle season in unit 7 and 8. I am planning on hunting the northern part of unit 7. Does anyone have any tips or any info about unit 7 in Colorado? I live in western Nebraska and choose unit 7 because it is closer than were we used to hunt. Any info would be great.
