Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum so I thought I'd introduce myself.I'm an outdoors enthusiast, having grown up in the thick woods of Missouri I learned a lot about nature and survival from my Uncle. I have been an avid whitetail, turkey, and bird hunter for the past decade. Now that I'm out of college and have been settled in to a good career I've decided to tackle the North American Big Ten. I already have a deer, and last year I went to Idaho for a bear hunt. It was a great hunt but I came up unsuccessful, which was fine. I believe had I been a part of a forum and had more understanding of the animal, I would have been successful. I blame myself for not being totally knowledgeable about the best dates to go and the right questions to ask my guide. There were many things I should have asked but I didn't think I would have to and it would have saved me a lot of time and money. If you have questions regarding anything, ask away and I'll answer as I will have many questions to ask all of you.
Next year I plan to hunt black bear again in hopes to fill my second goal on the big ten. This leads to my first question. Does anyone here know of any place in Colorado to hunt black bear for around $2000?
Thanks for your time and I look foward to getting to know this forum!
