anybody ever hunt colorado units 4,441or5 during the rut? I am looking in to going there this fall, my buddy has 9 pref points and I have 3. we are thinking we can draw 441, he w/ mzzldr and me archery. Looking for insights and advice or possible alternative units similar in point requirements.

I've hunted 5 quite a bit with muzzleloader for both deer and elk. Despite the fact that I have taken game from that unit, I wouldn't suggest anyone waste 9 points hunting there. There are better places to hunt with that many points. You can hunt it with an over the counter tag in the rifle season.
