I'm max points for deer in Wyo and can draw 119 this year or have about a 30-40% chance to draw unit 90. I have several friends who have hunted 90 and done very well but I heard that it was way down last year due to winter kill. Talked to a very nice GFD guy out of Cody who said he'd choose 119 hands down. I don't mind hunting hard and/or paying a couple hundred $ trespass fee. Any suggestions?

Don't know how you figure you're a lock on 119 as max 7PPs last year was only a 75% chance at drawing. It was only 100% for the 5 tags with max 7PPs in the Special higher priced draw.
I'd certainly take the Cody Biologist 's advice if you can draw 119 this year over 90 due to what you mentioned. The weather up in 119 is never that bad compared to 90. I hunt east of 119 every year.

Unless I'm reading the draw odds wrong, there are only one or two max points guys who didn't draw 119 last year. If there are six tags again those one or two (now eight-point) applicants should draw and leave about four tags for other max pointers? I talked to a hunter today who was in 90 last year and didn't see anything over 140". So looks like 119. Any pointers? I hear most people road hunt. I'll hike my butt off if it will get me something in the 160"-180" range.
