We have about 3000 acres that about 20 guys hunt. But there are about 100,000 acres of bordering state land so guys spread out. In archery, I have the whole top of the mountain to myself.

You asked how to drag a large bear out,i dont know why but myself and the guys i hunt with always seem to be unprepared when it comes to this stage of the hunt.we have proven that where there is a will, there is a way.last moose i shot had to be pushed on useing a 4x4 peice of lumber against a tree.we were luck we could atleast get a truck close to it and get it partialy on.

Yeah, get all buddies together for the drag is what we do now. If everyone is up. All my hunting buddies live 150 miles from camp. Another good thing: shoot that bear by 8:00am. 5:00pm is not ideal.
