Default Govt Shutdown impacts on elk hunting?

Are there any expected impacts of the US government shutdown on elk hunting? Is the government chaining closed entrances to national forest roads? Anything else?

I read another article on-line that suggested this is an unlikely event for various reasons. The basic theory was that the subject thing is a forest -- how do you shut down a forest? Designated camp sites in National Forests may be closed, however, the article indicated.

If it's gated, you can't hunt. Otherwise it's ok.

all federal lands are closed to all activites this includes hunting. I'm affected by this, I know a few federal officers, along with some NJ Fish & Game officers and they have caught people hunting on the federal lands here in NJ during this BS shutdown, they got tickets. If I can't hunt I would like to check my trail cams but won't risk it, and I'm a officer with the state of NJ

Was out all day today on F.S. land hunting. Saw all kinds of folks cutting firewood their also. No mention anywheres in this area of Forest Service lands being at all closed to the public.
