I'm at 3 - 8, not as far some some guys-but money used to be really tight to let the DOW hold onto my $250 for 3-4 months

You have a long way to go if you're talking about a bull moose. My buddy has 20 points, and can't get a tag.

Yep, but the moose draw isn't a straight up PP draw like other things. My oldest boys buddy drew a bull tag on GMU #7 with 3-2 a few years back. Just luck of the draw.

I started buying preference points in Wyoming 6-7 years ago, that is about the only way I see myself ever getting to hunt moose in the western US. I also apply in Maine every year to keep the dream alive.
