I am headed to WAWA, Ontario about 10 hours north or Toronto. We are going for the opening of gun season We have 2 cow tags, one bull tag and three calf tags between the six of us so we should hopefully get one. I took my first big gam animal this year so I am hoping to take a moose to go with my bear I took I am pumped. Where you headed Cyrus???

I don' t have to travel quite as far. A couple hours North of Winnipeg. We didn' t get drawn but there are areas here where you can get an over the counter bull only tag.
We found a new area that is pretty hard to get into, a small creek with multiple beaver dams but if you can get back in there, there is a lot of really good areas to hunt. Some pretty nasty sloughy stuff but lots of moose.
Hopefully no one alse has the same idea.

Good Luck!

Thanks Sam and Cyrus good luck to both of you as well. It should be a good hunt last year we got one bull opening morning and one the next morning. Then we fished for 4 days all in all a good trip even though the only moose I saw were dead ones that I didn' t shoot[:@]. Oh well hopefully this year. Good luck guys!
