Thanks for the kind comments. A lot of work went into that hunt, before and during. Definately worth it! The biggest thanks goes to a guy who goes by the handle of Deerking (doesn' t post much in this forum). Lives and hunts in Colorado. He has started a business called Antlerquest. He helped me pick out the hunt to put in for (drawing) and sent me photos of the area and a topo map with several hotspots circled. I killed the buck in one of those circles!
I did a swap hunt with him. He came down and got a blackbuck here in Texas in exchange for sharing one of his secret hotspots. He didn' t go on the hunt, but put me in a position to get this buck if I was willing to work hard enough.
