FUTURE ELK HUNT: I will be using a .270 wsm on an elk hunt. I would appreciate feedback on the best bullet I can use for this caliber. I have only taken one mule deer buck with this rifle. I used 130 gr. ballistic silver tip. It was a 200yd. broadside shot and dropped in its tracks. Don't worry, I will not be using this round elk hunting! But what bullet should I use??

tipped TSX 130gr, I think vortex loads this and maybe corbon, federal loads the regular 130gr tsx I believe.

150gr Nosler partition

Either an Accubond or a Partition. Phenomenal penetration and weight retention, and more than enough penetration.
