Default best place to hunt Canadian moose?

whats every ones opinions on the best place to get a BIG Canadian Moose with a still very high success rate with good populations at a high price and has anyone had much luck looking for a last minute hunt on them? or maybe someone is looking for a lastminute hunt as it sometimes helps cut the cost a bit to book in groups or so I have heard

Isn't the alaska-YUKON Moose the biggest?

I think somewhere west or northwest I'd want to be.

Personally though I'd want a combo moose/caribou hunt right now.

to tell you the truth Yukon and Alaska are the biggest but for those you are paying in the $20000 range and that is just the hunt you still gotta get there as well as get your trophy home etc from all that distance. I have guided all over and think Alberta is the best area it is under half the price and in the right area you can get huge trophies for example in my area I don't recommend anyone shoot a moose under a 50 inch spread and am 100% with rifle so far over the years and about 50% success with archery. When I guided in Alaska guys were still lucky to get something over 50 inches and they didn't have the moose numbers that are in alberta so success rate was way lower, in my mind for the money alberta is the best when you take in to account, size, numbers, price and success rate. Some people ask me why would I buy a 50 inch moose off you for around $8000 when I could buy a 60 inch plus for $20000 my response is I will sell you a 100 inch wide moose for 16000, come one year shoot a 50 incher and come the next year and shoot another, lol we are also killing bulls there over 60 inches but our average is between 50 and 55 inches which really not many guys can tell the difference between 55 and 65 inches if the truth is known especially when the difference is over $10000 and the success rate is way way lower
