I have to go with the Hoochie Mama too! I called in two nice bulls with it last year. You can also use it and a diaphragm at the same time and sound like two distinctly different cows.

I would say one of the best purchases I' ve made lately was a knife sharpener called " Speedy Sharp" . It' s a carbide material sharpener that you run along the blade. You can buy them for about $10 and they come in handy for a quick sharpen.
Also, I buy king size pillow cases at Target and use them as game bags. They breathe well, they are much more durable than those cheap mesh ones you see in some outdoor stores, and have worked well for us.

Speed an' sharpenin' a knife ain' t ' sposed to be in the same sentence. A good stone costs about $20. I wouldn' t come in the same room as my knife with one of them new fangled contraptions. If God wanted people to use gadgets on good hunting knives he wouldn' t have created flat rocks! I recently changed from a hard Arkansas stone for final honin' to a Wyomin' stone. I use a Washeeta stone to start my hone, and a chunk of aluminum oxide to take the factory edge off. Yall thet hate a butcher' s edge will know what I' m sayin' . A skinner' s edge is the way to go. Onliest way to get a good one is with a stone.
