With the 2011 season.winding down (last day for deer in Virginia is today) my thoughts are to this coming fall. Ive never been able.to.figure out the lottery process and get.out West to hunt Elk or other big game.

Wondering if there is a comprehensive site.that lists all the application/lottery deadlines in one place (and season dates) for.big game in 2012.

As a general rule the application deadline for Colorado is the first Tuesday in April..

The date for draw tags in Alaska was Nov1 thru Dec 31st at 5 PM, 2011. This started a couple years ago and should go on for at least a few more years.

Wyoming has an early elk application, jan/feb I think, although you can apply for just points til fall...
