What's your dream bear hunt?

I never had that dream.

Kodiak all the way. Then maybe a costal hunt off a boat would be cool.

Can't say I had that dream either. . .

My dream is to get a brown bear with my bow.

I "dream" of hunting an interior Alaska mountain grizzly bear. I really have no interest in hunting a coastal brown for some reason. I thinks its just because I love the mountains so much. With that being said, I will be going on a black bear hunt with my hounds to California this October. 2 months and counting!! Can't wait!

Not sure if is my dream hunt but, I would like to hunt grizzly someday. Color phase would be nice too.

Chocolate or Cinnamon Black bear for me. I have a couple blacks but always wanted a cinnamon. Never had the interest in the Brown or Griz.

my dream hunt isnt so much the type of bear, but how. I would love to do a coastal Alaska boat based hunt, scouting the shorelines along the inland passage islands/ shores. Get some excellent fishing and crabbing in, high bear number viewing and get a great perspective of the country. Blackies or coastal grizz (Browns) are hunted this way. I have shot several black bears and hope for a nice gnarly big one, but am not particularly set on grizz or browns.

My choice would be all of them but this year I'm staying at home and hunting local blackbears, this guy especially. That lower white ribbon on the stick is 36 inches from the level he is standing on.
