Default Daughters first bear??

Well my daughter put a bullet in her first bear last night at 6:30 PM. She was right behind the shoulder but a little bit high. My thought after watching it and from rewatching the video is that it should be in the upper lobes of the lungs.

We found a very spotty trail with spots of bloody mucus which we followed for about 30-40 yards before we lost it in the dark. We decided to hold of the search as it was dark and it would be cool enough overnight. I believe that we will find a dead bear this morning when we take up the search at 6:00. Of course our luck didn't get any better as it began to rain steadily about an hour and a half ago at 2:00 AM. Looks like we will have to do a grid search to try to find this thing.

Please say a prayer because it looks like we will need some guidance on this one.

Thanks for listening.

Did you have any luck finding it? I hope you did so that your daughter will have her first. I agree with not go after it at night though. Wounded bears are no fun to be around.
