    Default Northern Idaho moose tips
    I have drawn a moose tag for northern idaho and have about 8 days to hunt in early October. Does anyone have any advice, specifically calling vs. spot and stalk?

    My advice would be to shoot a few wolves while you're out.

    By October I would assume that the Shiras rut should at least be getting started. Try a few bull grunts and some cow moans and see what happens.
