I have only had the pleasure of eating deer and moose. I prefer deer but maybe it was because my mother didn' t have a lot of imagination with moose .

Backstrap of whitetail....cut into medallions and wrapped with bacon....cooked over an open campfire of lodgepole pine....brings a tear to my eye just thinking about the last time I had that meal.

I love both elk and deer! If forced to pick, probably elk backstrap with chantrelle mushrooms, sauteed in butter!

With out a doubt the winner here is moose! You can`t buy beef that tender!

Moose tenderloins for me, please.

So far I have had,

Deer, Elk,Moose,Bear,Mnt.Lion,Caribou and Bighorn Sheep............I have a very crafty family!!!!!

My favorite is Elk.Probably because i' ve had it the most.But Moose is a very close 2nd.Caribou if taken at the right time get honerable mention.


Meat...........I' ll take mine LEAN and HORMONE FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With out a doubt it would have to be buffalo.
