NC Black Bear Hunting
I'm planing to hunt Black Bear this fall in the Mountains of NC. I'll be hunting spot and stalk & using some attractant scent (bear bomb).
Does anyone (with experience in the NC mountains) have any recommendations on location in Western NC or tactics.

I would try hunting the gamelands around Standing Indian in Franklin, NC. The dog hunters get out and about pretty well all over NC, but if your persistent there are quite a few bears and you should be able to get one.
