Default Found a great elk shed

My brother and I went out yesterday and found one of the best elk sheds we have ever found. We spent 3+ hours looking for the other side. We will be back up tomorrow night to camp and look all weekend.

That is a great antler. He has some good character. Good luck finding the other half.

That is so cool!! I can only imagine how you felt when you walked up on that. I hope you find the other side.

Quick question do you find that wearing camo helps you sneek up on them better? Maybe that's what I'm doing wrong!

Thanks guys and gal ! It was a awesome sight walking up on that antler.

rather be huntin,

A lot of these giant bulls live in this low country year around. The camo helps us sneak into these areas and not blow the bulls clear out by not being busted.

salukiipvi,

public land and an OTC unit.

Wow that is a big bull. Is that a recent shed or is that a couple years old? Don't know much about elk sheds but it just look like an old shed.
