And yes hunters " bash" each other a little on this board but this is the proper forum for that. In front of a camera is not
agreed, like I said, we are our own worst enemy

Is this any surprise? Iv' e seen enough hunter bashing right on this web site
Really? Havent seen anyone here be bashed becuase there a hunter myself...maybe i missed it.

I have seen other bashing yes.

But i do agree we are our own worse enemys at times. But not the worst out there.

Youd have to go to some antihunting boards for that Or just a greenie , treehugin , the i love wolfs& every other animal ,& we howl at the moon together in spirit site.

If you take& llook for the worse from a group of ppl , any group including hunters & portray all as the same/ as the minority of bad ones where ,& are now considered the norm, as the media etc does , course it looks bad, but isnt the truth.

case of beer on the 4 wheeler, 2 full auto rifles mounted to the handle bars& looking for bllood & killin anything that moves.

Oh yes i forgot about the toture... gota tie the animals down &have some fun first before ya shootim?
Killers of innocence& life... they have rights you know?;)

Off the top of my head I' m thinking of the " what is ethical hunting" , " baiting ban" and " boycott wisconsin"

Enough bashing there to last you awhile

jorgy, I think what 1eyedfish is trying to say is that yes, there is bashing going on here about traits, characteristics and beliefs of different hunters here. But there is very little bashing about someone being a hunter.

No i didnt see those either that you mentioned Jorgy

why boycott wisconsin? They make the whole counrty impacted with all that cheese?;) j/k

I am glad at least ppl dont bash each other over the act of hunting itself or do they?
Because some dont argee with the type game , methods etc...guess that does happin some. I dont judge anyone or there ways- that is up to them how& what etc they hunt.

Feeding deer& managment of ...seems odd..but isnt really, just how its done in some places etc.( but i always get this pic of someone troling for deer with ears of corn behind a 4 wheeler etc too lol)

ethics too hmm.
Thanks Bobco :) yep thats what i ment. could very well be my typing Jorgy & not you at all.

I just finished watching " Hunting In America" . It wasn' t a hachet job on hunters. Though not very interesting, a balanced show. I' ll keep my subscribtion for now.

I watched it last night as well. It was balanced between pro and con which is a surprise. Being from NJ, I was interested in the bear segmemt. I have read the news articles about the killing of problem bears here but it didn' t phase me until I actually saw it. Myself or another hunter would have been happy to harvest such a beautiful animal. We hope to have a season this year and are fighting hard for it.

I watched it and it wasn' t as bad as some made it out to be. They did pt some stuff in there that I thought was really irrelevant like the bears that are caged in the university. I don' t know what that had to do with hunting. Only other thing that I didn' t like too much was the slaughter of the pigeons. I don' t consider this hunting myself and don' t see the link between that and hunting.
