I have used two of my rifles. The terrain i would hunt for the day would determine which one i would take. If it is steep and/or lots of walking i would take my Rem 700 sps stainless 300WSM shooting federal premium 180gr accubonds. If will be an easy day with not much walking and alot of driving, i would take my custom rifle chambered in 7mm-300weatherby, which is just a 300weatherby case necked down to 7mm caliber. Shoots 160 grain partition or accubond around 3400fps.

My go to rifle for anything except big bears and whitetail is a Sako finnbear 300H&H, whitetail get a 25-35, anything big like a brown bear or such would get a .338.......
