i was wondering how would i start an elk herd on my properdy i live in nevada and am looking for some land to buy evenchuly and i want a good elk and deer herd there so i could open a lodge or somthing so any websits or any info or any one that has somthing like that in nevada let me know thanks

I dont think u know what u are getting into.
It would be easier to just buy a piece of property with elk already on it.

Elk cover a lot of ground and tend to seasonally migrate. Unless you high fence, you won't keep them on your property. As stated, look for an area where there are elk and maintain the habitat to attract them.

I agree with Gen
If the elk are there the elk will stay there
If you have ponds/lakes/rivers
and wide open meadows with pine trees surrounding it
You are guarenteed elk
If not try antelope.
