RE: Poll: Are you recoil sensitive?

1) NO

2) Yes

3) 12 gague 3" magnum loads. Believe it or not this is probably the biggest recoil most of us have experianced.

4) no I haven' t reached my limit.

Taken from Chuck Hawks shotgun page.

And the 3 inch Magnum 12 gauge shell firing 1 7/8 ounces of shot at a MV of 1210 fps in that same 7.5 pound shotgun slams the shooter with over 60 ft. lbs. of recoil energy.

RE: Poll: Are you recoil sensitive?

1 - To some extent, although really just a preference for smaller calibers.
2 - Yes (30-06 is my primary weapon)
3 - 338
4 - 300 Wby is about all I like to deal with, plus I have no reason to go any bigger(I use my ' 06 on everything up to and including moose)

RE: Poll: Are you recoil sensitive?

No I am not recoil senistive. Yes to 30/06. .375 H&H largest expericened. Have not found limit yet. But I agree with bigbulls on the 3" magnum recoil. If memory serves me 60ftlbs of recoil is almost equal to the .416 Rigby.:D

RE: Poll: Are you recoil sensitive?

No I am not sensitive to recoil
No I will not shoot a 30-06 but not because of recoil
375h&h-300gr bullet-max load
375h&h is tolerable but I have no desire for any more recoil

RE: Poll: Are you recoil sensitive?

no (i havent shot any cannons yet)
30-06 165 corlokt
30-06 165 corlokt

I think the " havent shot any cannons yet" is about to change, was told to break my 270 wsm in with 150s, those should be the hardest kicking rounds ive shot in my young hunting career.

RE: Poll: Are you recoil sensitive?

1) No, I am not recoil sensitive.

2) Yes, I am comfortable shooting 30-06 w/ heavy loads.

3) My S&W 12ga w/ 3" mag load. That shotgun kicks harder than any others I have.

4) Don' t think I' ve found my limit yet.
