Heading for Africa...
Hunting the month ofJuly in Namibia, and South Africa. This will be my first hunting trip there....so who has tips? I'm not sure yet about the best way to ship trophys back to Arkansas after having the taxidermy done there.??? Spending thefirst19 days in Nambia hunting Leopard, Greater Kudu, Gemsbock, Eland, Mountain Zebra, Springbuck, Impalla, and Waterbuck...(only if they are really good). Nearly the same animals in South Africa for the rest of the month with another PH. Taking lots of video, and photo equipment so it looks like luggage cost will be plenty. Taking my wife along to videoand I knowthat will beextra expensive. Wanted to do this for a long time but would not be goingif we had knownthis economy would fall this far! Already made deposits in early 2008 so here we go.

Most of the time, if using a respectable taxidermist in Africa, they take care of getting the trophys back to your home state. So there shouldnt be any worries there. I know a good taxidermist in South Africa if you need help with that. We run trips in North East South Africa for all of the species you mentioned so I'm very familiar with your trip if you need any more advice. Just PM me or give me a call and I'd be glad to help or answer any questions.
