Seen those pic's that make the Moose look Huge?!
Whadaya think? I think it's an ATV trail and not a road. |

Moose are big, but they are not 20 to 30 feet tall. I suspect some trick photography.

I believe it is a real pic.
The "log" in the road appears to be about the size of a rail road tie and about 9 feet long or so. The trail is not wide enough for a full size vehicle. A bull moose will stand 6 - 7.5feet tall at the shoulders and can have antlers that are over 6 feet wide. Judging by the size of the wood in the trail and the size of the trees I believe this moose is about 6 feet tall at the shoulders. |

It could easily be real if the photographer was very close,and was low to the ground when he took the picture.

I gotta agree, camera angle played a big role into making the moose look a little large.

Here's another picture:
I agree, the camera angle is from a crouching possition . . low to ground. That "railroad tie" in the road should be 9', which would make the moose about 6-7' at withers. Kind of freaky, but explainable. Atv trail! Not a county road. I don't see "photo shop" tricks. The lighting is consistant with rest of picture., |
