Moose are big, but they are not 20 to 30 feet tall. I suspect some trick photography.

I believe it is a real pic.

The "log" in the road appears to be about the size of a rail road tie and about 9 feet long or so. The trail is not wide enough for a full size vehicle. A bull moose will stand 6 - 7.5feet tall at the shoulders and can have antlers that are over 6 feet wide. Judging by the size of the wood in the trail and the size of the trees I believe this moose is about 6 feet tall at the shoulders.

It could easily be real if the photographer was very close, and was low to the ground when he took the picture.

I gotta agree, camera angle played a big role into making the moose look a little large.

Here's another picture:
I agree, the camera angle is from a crouching possition . . low to ground.

That "railroad tie" in the road should be 9', which would make the moose about 6-7' at withers.
Kind of freaky, but explainable. Atv trail! Not a county road.
I don't see "photo shop" tricks. The lighting is consistant with rest of picture.,

You think that is big. Wait til they're on the ground!!!! Then they're really big. All the fun is over after they die.

Either way, it looks huge! I had a small bullwinkle about 40 yrds away in Montanna a few years ago, but nothing like that picture. i could not get over how clumbsy they walked, I almost started laughing.
