Default Heading north! - Prairie goat down!

I'll be going after antelope in Colorado on Saturday. It took me six years to draw after my last successful hunt. Anybody else going for a special hunt? If so, good luck!

PS - Is there a secret to posting pictures on this website? Mine always come through as an attachment and are limited to 100K.

Great Hunt see below!

umm...the only thing I know is to save your pictures to photobucket, then click the "direct link" to copy and paste it, then click the "add image" button on the right side of the post tool bar thing. then just paste your coppied stuff in there.

Thanks for the good luck wishes guys it really paid off.

The 2008 season has started off with a bang. On Saturday, October 4th my best friend and I went out for the first day of antelope season in Eastern Colorado. After several unsuccessful stalks, we managed to crawl a couple hundred yards to within 160-180 yards of this buck that was bedded down in a cut wheat field. After waiting an hour, the buck finally stood up and that was all she wrote. He will score in the 73-75” range. He had 6 inch bases with his longest length measurement being 14 5/8. He was an old mature buck. It was a rewarding hunt, and a great start to the season.

Check out the link on the opening post!
