Nice buck!
Thanks for sharing your picture.
I don' t know how to post pictures on this site but if you look at the rack on your deer and see where the last point comes off the main beam and then picture those two points coming off the head of a 180lb mule deer, you' ll get the idea.
He wasn' t big but I was hunting in the foothills of the Sawtooth Mountains with 10,000 foot snowy peaks for a back drop, lots of fun, good day hunting.

It looks like you took the buck on a canned hunt. They had the poor thing chained to the ground and you walked up, fed him some grain and then backed away and shot him, didn' t ya? j/k
Aw heck, I' m just jealous. Great looking buck, thanks for sharing the picture and the story.

ArcticBowMan, No this was 100% wild, free roaming, swamp loving Maine whitetail Buck ! I did however harvest this buck just outside of our red deer hunt preserve , or as you so fondly refer to as a " canned hunt" .....[&:]

This main 8 with one broke G3, was my first Bowed New Jersey Buck. Shot at 27yards and weighing around 190lbs. I used PSE 55lb Compound with Easton 2018 xx75' s & a magnus 125gr Broadhead. The went about 50yards.
