Default Bear Taxidermy Ideas

hey guys just wanted to see some bear mount Idaes and if you have any ideas besides the rug or mount since my wife says I can't keep one in the house. I was thinking about a necklace style with the claws and the skull mount but no idea bout what to do with the hide other than donate it.

Thanks again

Yes its real but tame.[8D] I was up in Bemidji a few weeks ago at a place called Animal land. They have tame deer and about everything else you can imagine up there. I took my 1 year old daughter there, I think she liked it.

Get a new wife!

Just kidding. I am glad my wife allows dead animals in the house. I do know a guy here that is in your boat though. He sheetrocked and finished his garage. That is where all his animals are. Kind of funny. Most wifes say the garage is the mans room.

Keep the skull, take alot of pictures, and get a rug. Even though you may not be able to show it freely. At least you will not regret it later. Take it out and relive memories down the road.

Rugs and full mounts are the only way to go if you have great fur/hides.

Was considering a 3/4 wall mount, coming out of the wall they called it, but my guide and others talked me into using the entire hide, ie on the full mounts, said it would be an injustice not to use the entire hide since it was so perfect. Spring hides, unrubbed, long dense fur ....and that does make sense.

But that 3/4 wall mount is a pretty cool mount.
