RE: Bear Hunting in Alberta?

google - bear paw outfitters in Alberta. They are near Peace River. Scott and his wife are great people and run a top notch operation. Start dieting now and maybe you won't put on too much weight if you go.

RE: Bear Hunting in Alberta?

My wife and I have hunted with Alberta Bear Busters the past two years, both times in early and mid-May. Our hunt was near High Level, Alberta which is about 500 miles north of Edmonton. It is definitely a taget rich environment. I have taken two 6'6" and a 6'4" and my wife took a 7'1" this past May and a beautiful blonde bear the year before. We hunted this year from the 8th to the 15th of May and the bears were just coming out of hibernation and the capes were thick, long and beautiful. If you are interested, the outfitter's name is Pat McLean and his number is 403-345-6315 or cell 403-331-8989.
