Congrats, how about a story?
That doesn't look like a cinnamon black bear to me, but too small for grizz.
Give us some details.

Congrats! Yeah, the story with details please. Good on you!
WellI went hunting the week before Memorial Day.The guides were behind schedule on getting their baits out by about 2 weeks due to all the late snow. The 1st three days I was there the temps were in the mid 80s,plus the full moon had all the big guys nocturnal.but we managed to see a **BIG'UN**the 2nd night I was there but unfortunately it was to dark to shoot.(when your guide gets excited and whispers Bear,Bear,Big BEAR,you know he is big).Anyhow the next few days past without much happening,we tried hunting the big guy two more nights but decided, the moon had us messed-up,so we switched locations. On the 5th day saw a nice black bear but he was to far off to try for stalk, didn't see anything that evening, and was starting to get anxious. The next evening things came together,we had cool temps, light wind and a light mist was falling.the bear I killed came in about 8pm,I was using a 7mm rem mag, shooting from a ground blind,at about 125yds.It just piled up right there, bang flop.
I have heard some people says that they justlay around at camp all day then hurry up and hunt in the evening. The people I was with kept you fairly well occupied, with everything from sight seeing, shed hunting,to trail rides.i will with out a doubt be returning to this outfitter, either this fall for my 1st elk hunt or again this spring for round 2 with the bears(maybe both??!)
The outfit I was with was Continental Divide Outfitters,in North Fork,Id.The two guides were Jon & Caleb, with Caleb's wife doing the cooking, which was excellent. All three are real good people.
