Default Black Bear hunt

Anyone have any good referrals on a black bear hunt within the states? Preferably somewhere I dont have to enter a drawing and no dog hunting.

I can put you on land with plenty of bears for free her in Pa. ,you can camp for nothing. Now the down side ,it's a 3 day season,no baiting and the odds are low and the country is big ,you will need a gps or good map skills.

either north or south caroline produces more B&C than anywhere else and its kinda under the radar I believe. not sure how big/body wt the bears are but the skulls are huge.

UP michigan, or Wis i think if you just want to shoot a bear, big bears up there, but not sure about as far as B&C goes.

Check the state of Maine Guide Assoc. web site. There are a ton of bear guides there and the pricing on many are "affordable" for a big game hunt.

They hunt the Quinault Indian Reservation located in western Washington state. It is rain forest and they have had over population problem that resulted in substantialtimber damage. They opened up the reservation for these hunts and they have brought out some 7' bears.

Come to Oregon. We have to many bears. 30,000 bears in 40,000 square miles. There is no baiting but you don't need to. If you want a guided hunt get hold of this guy; www.southernoregonoutfitters.com

A guy I went to college with took his wife to New Mexico and hunted with Backrhoads outfitters and they both killed nice black bears.
