Try putting sweeter foods out there and doing burns with them. Bring out a little stove and boil some cherry flavored jello by the baits. When it gets to a rolling boil, pick up the pot and toss the jello on the barrel, trees, branches and ground. I've heard of this being done before and the bears come in paying attention to every spot that the jello was placed before even acknowledging the other food there. Apparantly the bears aren't hurting for food, so maybe tempt them with something that tastes better to them.
If you give it a try make sure to come back here and tell us how it works.
