I posted this in archery, but I have friends on this board too. I went out one last time today before elk starts. I am glad that I did!!!

congrats on connecting! I tryed for a goat with a recurve but couldn't get closer than 80 yrds, but it was fun.

Looks like you may have dropped a few pounds too (since your last successful pic). Sweating in that blind probably helps.. Way to go.

Thanks for the kind words everyone, this hunt was over a waterhole. I did a real quick unpack and pack and headed in for elk. Elk were kinda slow, only got one bull going for 4 hours or so. We took a few grouse that were good eating though. I did have a spike blow by one morning while I was putting in my contacts. Too small anyway but it was nice to see(somewhat). I am headed back in this weekend for a couple of days. Hopefully I will have some pics of a bull. This week will be busy if I get one, the carpet layers will be here weds. and I am headed to Montana then Wyoming next thurs. No rest for the wicked I guess.......
