favorite animals to hunt?
 

The one big game animal I want2 shoot the most would have 2 be either a mt goat or a caribou or even an elk

My dream hunt is the Dall Sheep. I've dreamt of hunting in the Northwest Terriotories ever since I heard my father tell stories of his hunt some 20 years ago. Hopefully, I'll be able to afford it before I'm too old, Broke down, and/or fat to climb those hills.

My favorite to hunt is elk, I love listening to them scream. The big game animal that I most desire to hunt is the Dall Sheep. I hope I can afford to do it some time in the not so far off future!

Next winter I'm going to makeplans to hunt mt.goats ,that is my next goal a full body mount for the game room I have been building for a year now and should be done by next spring.

Yeah . . . ther's nothing like the elk bugle at first light. Sittin' in your honey hole as the sun brightens the sky while listening to the wapiti serenade each other. I'll have to be dead before I miss that!

But for a hunt I haven't done, I really like some of the aspects of archery caribou.

mountain lions.
they are one of the most beautiful animals. training your own hounds to track and tree the big cat is where it is at. Love looking into those amber colored eyes and hearing the baying of a well trained pack of hounds.

Of the animals I currently hunt, I probably enjoy moose hunting the best, though the camp life on a whitetail hunt can't be beat.

I would like to hunt elk some day, and I'm looking into that possibility now. Barring that, I'd also like to try a caribou hunt, and (maybe) an african plains game hunt. Red deer in NZ would be interesting, but I don't know if I'm physically up to it.

I love sheep hunting! Got my ram from Colorado, but would love to add a stone and a desert. But since tags aren't in hand, I will have to settle for my archery elk anddeer hunt. Really a shame isn't it.

Every since I was 10 years old, I was facinated by a grizzly hide hanging on the wall of my neighbors house. I didn't pay much attention to the 1/2 dozen large 6 point elk in the same room. (grew up in Alberta)
Since then I have found "my" bear and would never kill another grizzly, though understand when a young hunter dreams of gettin "his" bear.
Today hands down, elk in the rut, way too much fun.

Elk hunting is lots of fun but my favorite hunt is Woodland Caribou in Newfoundland.

Of course for me it is Whitetail because you reall have to outwit them.

However, my dream hunt would be in Alaska going after the Grizzly and I wouldn't mind taking a moose while I was at it. ;)

I want to shoot a 60"+ bull moose soooooooooooooo bad! Went on a DIY in AK once and let s small one pass and saw one big bull, but couldn't close the deal before dark.

A big 6x6 elk screaming at you bow hunting no doubts rates right on top, but a big Yukon bull moose would be thee top...!

Elk is #1 for me with turkey and waterfowl close behind.....turkey more so that waterfowl any more........coyote hunting is alot of fun also.

I just want to hunt something in the mountains, i live in ontario and have shot all of the bi game offered hear 48" bull moose, 11 160 b&c Buck, 300 lbs Black bear, Now i need to go out of province, If anyone wants to help me do that drop me a line Thanks

Elk with my bow. Whitetail with a bow after that. Killed them all with a rifle, now would like to get in close with the bow.

Starting my 51st year Bowhunting so I have experienced many of you fellas dreams. I have Been successful on many & enjoyed them all.
Black Bears, Elk, Caribou, Buffalo, Goat, Red Sheep, Mouflan Ram, wild hogs, Whitetail, Mule Deer & more. Living in the midwest I have always had great Whitetail Bowhunting but that is our only Biggame available. I have treaveled to Colorado & New Mexico at least 25 times & Canada as many.
I have been blessed with a great family & many great experiences with my bow. I have never hunted any biggame animal with a gun but it is also a great sport. If it's your dream-go for it.
Mine was BIG BEARS with my bow-Grizzly or Kodiak & never made it.

My favorite, hmm thats tough but i think elk followed closely by moose then mulie and whitey are even.

As for a dream hunt, i got two actually, Alaska/Yukon moose hunt or a trip to Africa.

sounds like someone enjoys hunting that involvesmcalling in animals more than any other type....lol i feel you on that one. i LOVE duck hunting but ever since ive become a good turkey call, there is no matching that feeling when you have a big tom on a string and hes practically runnin in. of course, ive never been elk hunting either.
