Here's my May 2007 Prince Wales Black bear. I went on a DIY hunt (no guides or transporters) and was lucky enough to be presented with an opportunity at this bruiser. He'll square over 7 feet and his skull measured 21 &7/16 inches. He'll make B&C all time. What an adventure I had! This year was tough hunting as winter has held on longer than usuall and the bear sightings were much fewer than my trip in spring of 2005, but persistance paid off. Here he is. More pics to come.

I shot him with a Remington 300 ultra mag one time through the shoulder. He ran about 60 yards total and that was it.
