Default Calling all Cougar Experts

My buddy in southern West Michigan found these tracks in his driveway. We are thinking it's a cougar, any thoughts?

I am not an expert but don't cougersretract thier claws when walking? I think I see claw marks on some of those pics. It might be wolf or a dog?

Its not a cougar appears to be a large dog. Most likely a rot or mastiff.

Those are definitely dog or some other canine tracks.

I also think that cougers walk\stride isdifferent too. I mean their one paw is allot closer to the rear on the opposite side. Again I am not an expert so I stand corrected if wrong.

I've seen a lot of mountain lion tracks over the last 8 years while hunting elk. I even called one into 15 yards. I would concur they're a large dog.

Yeah, clearly a dog. Claws and longer than it is wide.
