Default First big game animal...thanks guys.

I spent alot of time hunting this year, alot of time away from my family, but as of 19Dec. it was all worth it. This was my first year to hunt any big game animal, let alone an animal as prestiges as elk. After my devistating 2 misses during bow season, I grabbed a late season elk tag. I have been around weapons my whole life, just never hunted animals with them. I reloaded all my rounds myself and was using a 175gr 7mm Rem. Mag. Nosler Partition. I shot my "raghorn" at 310m and killed it with one shot. I had an anltlerless tag, but what are the chances of hitting a less than 5inch bull. (drop horn), completely legal. I also learned how to bone out and cut up my harvest through friends and videos. I was able to carry all the meat out myself and not waste an ounce of it. My bullet didn't even touch edible meat.

I'm friggin pumped. Huntingnet. was a big help, thanks guys.
