what did you do with the bag of smoke?

poked few holes in and threw it into a canal near by. I'm sure the fishing was really good after that

Why did you poke holes in it? Good thing you didn't turn it into the PD, they would've thrown you in jail, and the officer would go to the back room and go Rocky Mountain High!

As for why i poked holes in it. It was pretty big bag and I didn't want to take the time to open it up.My dad was chief of the police department at that time. I told him what I had found and what i did. He said he would have done the same

The things I find do not add up to the things I have lost.Found a single shot 12ga. and a few knifes. But I have lost more then a few knifes ,a leupold spotting scope in the little belt montains and an elk call or two in the highwoods.

BareBack I though of you when I wrote that.It was back around 1993 ,I was past the two little towns on the highwoods side ,stafford might have been one of them, then to the right maybe 5 miles back in.I was glassing a large cutoff and I took off the tripod and set them on the fender of my trailer .When I hit the bottom of the montain at the highway I realized ,turn around and only found one part of the tripod halfway up the hard top.It was the staight one 30 or 36 power .pre zoom days.It would have easly rolled off the road and in the brush. I did post reward signs on the roads no one called .good luck .Hey with 2 bonus points I should be out there this year. It's been to long.

I found a WWI vintage bayonet while canoeing in the Ozarks about 25 years ago. But, haven't found anything since...
