RE: Alberta Bear Outfitters
Mullis56,
I, along with three others are going to Alberta May2007. We are booked with Bearpaw outfitters. They operate in the Peace River region. We did extensive research and finally settled on this outfit. This choice was based on references, success rate, color phase availability, trophy size bear, and personal calls to Scott Taylor (owner). The fact they have a 84% return client rate also was factor. I can't recall there website right off the top of my head, but if you "google" Bearpaw, alberta it will come up. Really looking forward to the trip and will post results.

I went with Garrett Brothers outfitting out of Fort McMurray. Their camp is on the Clearwater River. Bait sites are on the river and you boat in and out. With a bow I took 2 blaze, 1 P&Y this past May. Tree stands are all built for 2, very solid. Bait sites are a 10 yard shot max. Lots of bears come in. I would definately go back but can't afford it this year. Their site is www.garrettbrosoutfitting.com
