RE: Nikon Monarch 800 rangefinder
I bought mine used on ebay and it has done great for me.
Saw a thread like this on Bowsite and the Monarch 800 had the most favorable feedback. Taking mine to Colorado for my deer hunt in November. Will also fool with it here in Illinois during bow season.
I decided to buy one after last year, when I had to pass on a 170 class whitetail because I was not certain of yardage. Don't want that to happen again.

I've used one for years now and am on my second (first one was stolen). Both of mine have worked perfect and I swear by them. Seem to me to be high quality and have used them on everything from elk hunting to bow hunting whitetails and even golf.
