Only bad thing was as you can see in the photo, we wedged himself tight against that big blowdown tree. It was aweful trying to move him.....I couldn't. I could drag him out, but he slipped right back. I quartered him best I could. Only a 1/4 mile pack downhill to my camp.

Wow nice bow, and with a bow to boot. 1/4 mile? wow it doesnt get much easier than that for packing an elk out. How long did you have to wait till you drew? And how about a story to go along with the pics? Again awesome bull!!!!

Downhill!!! lucky, last year me, my freind and his dad had to drag his bull elk about 250 yards which wouldn't have been bad if it worn't nearly stright up! Wasn't nearly that big though.
