He green scored 80 7/8's, that's enough to get him in the P&Y books. 67 is the minimun entry. I have alot of animals that could make the books I've just never entered any, I should my mountain lion he'd go all time in Boone & Crockett. I don't know if i'll do it for me it's just a reference when someone tells me a score then a have a mental picture of how big their animal is.
I still think your buck hasthe better shape of horns and will make a great mount. I think i'm going to mount this one using the upright pedestal mount there's one with the neck bent that looks like a chess piece. Maybe someday i'll have lifesize chest game. lol

Cherokee, that is one nice buck. The reason I asked was because I wanted to get an idea on the size. pics don't show mass well. Mine missed p&y by 5/8's of an inch. I was thinking on the pedestal mount. He would make the state books if I entered him. Idaho is not known for huge goats, but we have enough to make it interesting, and there is a wide variety of horn configurations. Again congrats on a fine animal.

Great job on that nice goat, beats mine by a mile,lol, but I only got to wait till sept. 10 for my moms hunt and sept. 25 for me and my dads hunt and oct. 1 for my two doe tags, I know people that need the food. I'm so exsited to go hunting and am still supprised that we got all the tags we applied for! congrats again, and with the bow on top of that!

cherokee, I got my pack all filled today. Heading in about 2:00 am on wed. morning for the first 6 day jaunt during elk season. I will be heading back in for a nine day stretch a week and a half later. I have a score to settle with oldGrowler. I hope I win this time!!!! smaller bulls will luck out for the first week.............
