I was just on their web site and it appears they will draw for elk tags tommorrow and deer the following week!! This is about a month earlier than usual. With my luck it will just mean I have about $1000 to back into my bank account. Good luck to everyone who applied.

LOL. I know what you mean. Although, as far as Colorado goes, I have always drawn a tag. I am beginning to think that there is no need for an archery application. Either that or I have been very lucky, which would be a first

Our camp was sucessful as well.
God and the CDOW has truly blessed us this day!!! We can say we are elk hunters again for another year, rather than just campers!!!

As always I got my Cow Elk tag. Two out of my group got there tags but one friend didn't get to draw his bull tag. I holp there will be a left-over cow tag for him. Good luck to everyone else. Jovan

I drew my first choice: first rifle season either sex Unit 75. This will be my first elk hunt, and I'm excited!
